A little theatre work as Sound Technician, then joined STV Glasgow Sound Dept as trainee. Just short of 21 years there, experiencing all aspects of TV sound - mixing music, drama (studio and location), childrens, talk, audience shows, Fisher boom operation, etc. Latterly Sound Supervisor. Turned freelance 1994.
Wide experience in all fields - film, current affairs, documentaries, corporates, home and abroad as recordist and boom op. Sound assistant on scores of OBs for most major and many smaller companies. Also experienced sound and lights technician on live events working with AV companies, including camera/director with DV cameras. Willing to travel all of Scotland and N of England.
