Barry Strongin is a New York based TV cameraman known for his beautiful lighting and hand-held camera work. Barry has a graduate degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technologys Media Lab (M.S., 1984) where he studied with cinema verite pioneer, Richard Leacock.
Quick, versatile, and creative, Barry shoots broadcast TV news segments, reality television, documentaries, electronic press kits, corporate image pieces, fashion, and for the internet. He works in all formats including HDCam, DVCPro 50/100, XD & P2, DigiBeta, BetaSP, DVCam, HDV & MiniDV, PAL & NTSC.
