Crew Avenue provides a listing service for professionals working in the Television industry. Only these such professionals, and companies or individuals wishing to employ such professionals should use this site.

Terms and Conditions

By using the service, and becoming a member of the Crew Avenue website, you are acknowledging that you have read, understand, agree to, and accept the following Terms and Conditions in their entirety. If you do not agree to, or accept the Terms and Conditions, you are not authorized to become a member of the Crew Avenue website, or use it's services.

The Crew Avenue website, and the service it provides ("Crew Avenue") are owned by Crew Network. Crew Network is a Limited Liability Company (LLC). Members ("Members") subscribing to Crew Avenue are bound to the following agreement ("Terms and Conditions").

Privacy and Confidentiality

Crew Avenue will not trade, sell or knowingly disclose any personal information of its members to any third party unless requested to for lawful purposes.

Crew Avenue will not share your personal details with any other companies.

Crew Avenue may contact members when necessary via their email address to discuss any matters involving their account or profile.

Members who have chosen to receive updates and news from Crew Avenue will be sent an electronic newsletter via their email address. Members can choose to stop these emails via their account page.

Members must take full responsibility for keeping their password and any other sensitive access codes confidential and must ensure that this information is not disclosed to any third parties.

Members must contact Crew Avenue immediately to report any unauthorized use of their account, profile, or password.

Crew Avenue reserves the right to amend / modify, delete, or move any content, including member's information, without notice or liability, for any reason, at any time. In addition, Crew Avenue reserves the right to remove some, or all services at any time. These will be at the sole discretion of Crew Avenue.

Some member information is used purely for statistical purposes in order to help Crew Avenue develop and improve it's services.

Termination

Members have access to close their account, delete their profile, and terminate this agreement at any time. This can be completed via the members account page. Once an account has been closed, all information is deleted from the Crew Avenue database, and the member's profile no longer exists on the website.

Crew Avenue may terminate or suspend a member's account and profile without prior notice or liability if the member is in breach of any of the terms or conditions. Once Crew Avenue has terminated the member's account and profile, the member will only be considered for further membership at the sole discretion of Crew Avenue.

Third Party Websites

The Crew Avenue website provides members with the opportunity to submit links to their own personal websites (third party websites). Crew Avenue does not control, is not responsible for, and does not endorse any part of the member's website including their content, accuracy, or legality. Crew Avenue members may access other members websites via the Crew Avenue profile pages, however do so at their own risk.

It is the responsibility of the member to ensure that any website link provided on their profile page is free from any content of destructive nature (including, but not limited to robots, viruses, trojan horses, and worms). Crew Avenue is not responsible or liable for any destructive consequences to members computers, hardware or software, from a website submitted from a Crew Avenue member.

Employment

Crew Avenue is not an employment agency. The Crew Avenue service is designed to be an online tool for Producers, Production companies, and other employers wanting to source professional television crews for their productions. Crew Avenue does not guarantee employment for members.

Crew Avenue does not take any responsibility for any potential work offers, requests, or otherwise, made by employers. Crew Avenue is not involved with any agreement between a member and an employer, and does not endorse or guarantee the quality, reliability, or accuracy of the communication from the members or employers.

Members communication and agreements with employers, including any terms and conditions associated with such deals, are solely between the member and the employer. Members and employers agree not to hold Crew Avenue liable for any loss or damage of any sort incurred as the result of any such dealings or as the result of the presence of such users of the website.

It is the sole responsibility of the members to ensure that any work offer is acceptable and appropriate.

Copyright

The Crew Avenue website is protected by copyright under international copyright laws. All member information, content, images and other elements are also regarded as copyright by it's original owners unless otherwise stated.

Unauthorized use of the Crew Avenue website is subject to severe civil and criminal penalties under applicable laws.

Members may view, copy, download, and print content from the Crew Avenue website providing that they are used for personal, non-commercial purposes only and may not be posted, distributed, sold, or modified in any way.

Members may not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, display, repost or use any of the content in any way for any public or commercial purpose without prior written consent of Crew Avenue or the rights holder.

All Crew Avenue content (including, but not limited to, text, content, images, graphics, layout, web design) is copyrighted unless otherwise noted.

You may not use the Website Content on any other website or in a networked computer environment for any purpose except your own personal viewing.

Indemnification

Members agree to indemnify, defend and hold Crew Avenue and its directors, employees, and affiliates harmless from any costs, claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or attorney's fees arising from any violation of this agreement, or relating to the member's use of the Crew Avenue website or use by any third party accessing the member's account.

Members Obligations

Members are granted a non-exclusive, limited right to access, view and use the Crew Avenue website for their own personal use or internal company use, provided that they adhere to the following conditions.

Members agree :

1. to provide true, accurate, current and complete information about themselves when registering or amending their profile content. This information must not be misleading in any way. Members (excluding camera assistants) must have been active in the television industry for a minimum of 3 years in order to join Crew Avenue.

2. to take full responsibility for ensuring that the content submitted by them to Crew Avenue is regularly updated. Crew Avenue is not obligated to verify the accuracy of any member's profile content or account information.

3. not to use Crew Avenue to post surveys, spam, junk mail, contests, pyramid schemes or any other forms of solicitation.

4. not to submit any text, content, images, or graphics that are inappropriate, pornographic, abusive, threatening, obscene, defamatory, or is in violation of copyright laws.

5. not to intentionally or unintentionally violate any applicable local, state, national or international laws.

6. not to post internet links to any material that contains content of a destructive nature including, but not limited to robots, viruses, trojan horses, and computer worms that will damage or limit the functionality of computer systems, software, or the Crew Avenue website.

7. not to share or copy any personal information or content from another member's profile.

8. not use the Crew Avenue database for any purpose other than to seek employees for television productions or communicate with peers. At no time shall members use the Crew Avenue database to sell or promote any non-related products or services.

Warranties

Although Crew Avenue will endevour to make every reasonable effort to provide a fully functional service without errors, we give no guarantee or warranty that the quality, accuracy, or validity of the content on the Crew Avenue website, including that posted by third parties.

Members relying on content posted by other members is done so at their own risk. In addition, Crew Avenue gives no guarantee or warranty to the availability of the service and takes no responsibility for disruption to any website server, web host services, or ISP services.

Liability

In no circumstance will Crew Avenue or it's employees be liable for any incidental, concequential, or indirect damages. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of profits, interruptions to business, or other such damages that may arise from the use, or failure to use the Crew Avenue website, delays to the service, errors or inaccuracies within the content, transactions arising from using the service, unauthorized access, viruses or other such harmful bugs, or interruptions to the Crew Avenue service.

In some States within the USA, the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages is not allowed, and in those states, Crew Avenue liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

These Terms and Conditions may be amended or modified by Crew Avenue at any given time. It is the responsibility of the members to review the Terms and Conditions agreement and any such modifications to ascertain whether they may affect their membership to the Crew Avenue website. Continued use of the Crew Avenue service will indicate full acceptance of the latest Terms and Conditions provided by Crew Avenue.
